I love mini quilts – they are such a gorgeous way to practice your skills, learn new techniques, then have something to display. Here are ten super gorgeous mini quilts that have free patterns! Hurrah!
Arabesque Mini by Woodberry Way – HSTs at their best!
I Heart You Mini by Cluck Cluck Sew – simple and gorgeous!
Prismatic Medallions by Robert Kaufman – love this one, it’s been on my to-do list for ages. Love both the scrappy and solids versions.
Patchwork Pineapple Mini by Sassafras Lane – fresh and fruity! Love the stripy binding.
Cat Mini Quilt by Elizabeth Hartman – you could size this in so many ways depending on how many cat blocks you want to make.
Patchwork Death Star by Quirky Granola Girl – for all the Star Wars fans.
Mini Scrap Quilt by Diary of A Quilter – perfect for using up all those little off cuts!
Encircled Love by Kittens & Threads – super sweet for a table topper!
Life, Love, Liberty Mini by Gnome Angel. Love those Liberty florals!
Ombre Vibes Mini by Amy Friend for Sizzix
There is definitely a pattern in that list to suit everyone! I love seeing pictures of people’s craft spaces decorated with minis – they are the perfect wall art solution for the modern quilter!
This week…
Working – I’ve started a new job this week! Just ten hours part time but it’s great to get back into work mode and back into the office.
Reading – Dark Matter by Blake Crouch. Excellent and I could not put it down.
Eating – apple slices dipped in peanut butter. YUM.
Wearing – my Nike dry fit leggings. Everywhere all the time. Except the office of course!
Oh thanks for the roundup, such super cute patterns. I want to make all of them, but will have to pace myself here! 🙂
Nice blog thank you….
