Sewing Machine Cover – which charm pack?

I’ve had a lot of emails from people who would love to use the same fabric I chose for my tutorial, the Quilted Sewing Machine Cover.

The fabric I used was a charm pack of Half Moon Modern by Moda, given to me by a partner in a swap several years ago, and unfortunately it’s now out of print. Who knows – there may be some lurking about in a quilt shop near you, but online you definitely won’t find it anymore.

Instead, I thought I’d share with you some recommendations of some lovely charm packs I’ve seen around that could create either a similar colour theme, or just some beautiful fabric to make your sewing machine cover fabulous and unique!

  1. Last night I finished my quilted sewing machine cover. It was my very first quilted project ever! It was so much fun and I love the result. I added ribbon loops to grab it with. I’d love to send a picture but don’t see how right now.

    1. Hi Sandra, so glad this project was such a success for you!! I’d love to see a photo – perhaps you can email it to me or send it in a message on my facebook page?
