Finishing Up for 2015

I had plans for some more blog posts for 2015.

tic tac toe 4 blocks

Then someone broke into our house on Wednesday evening (while we were at home!!) and stole my MacBook Pro, which is the laptop I use for EVERYTHING, especially my blogging activities.

Awful, frustrating, disappointing, scary – but the most important thing is that no one got hurt. Laptops are replaceable, people are not. I’ve probably lost a few photos but all the important stuff is on the cloud, in dropbox and google drive and I’ve got tonnes on pics my phone.

I’m not even angry at the thief, I’m just sad that people are so desperate.

Our house is being packed up this week anyway, life will be crazy and then we are off to New Zealand for Christmas. I’ll still be around on Facebook and Instagram so I’ll see you there.

Thank you for reading along this year and sharing all your wonderful creativity with me. I appreciate you all for your support and positive encouragement. I really love being part of the sewing and quilting community!

Wishing you a very happy holiday season, whether you are at the beach for the Aussie summer or snuggling by the fire in a winter wonderland. I’ve never experienced a White Christmas – it’s on my bucket list.

See you soon. xx

  1. i hope you have a beautiful Christmas and a great start to your new adventure !! Life as an expat was one of the special moments of our lives as a family ! Enjoy and relish the challenges !! watch out for the six week lull 😉

  2. I’m sad you had your home violated and belongings taken, but so glad all they wanted was things. Wishing you a trouble free (!!!) move and a wonderful Christmas in New Zealand, Ros! You’ll be missed, but we’ll look forward to all your new adventures. Happy Holidays!

  3. Very sorry to hear about the break in and theft, Ros. Wishing you a wonderful Christmas in New Zealand. The girls are still at the age where it’s all magical. All the best for the move and the next exciting chapter in your life.

  4. So sorry to hear this. Glad you are all ok. That’s the most important thing!
    Good luck with your move.

  5. Hi i have just come across your page today and my baby is due in Feb next year. I like some of your produces… are you still selling any items?? or when are you starting up again? I love the small nappy bag!!

    1. Hi Victoria! Sorry about the late reply – I have been on holiday in New Zealand over Christmas. We are just about to move to China and all my machines are packed up and I probably won’t get them until March 🙁 Sorry I can’t help you out! Good luck with your new arrival and thank you for thinking of me!

  6. I always love your colour combinations. Oh that is scarey. But can I say that happens all the time in the city. It happened to me when I was 8 months pregnant and I fell asleep on the lounge, the kitchen counter is next to the lounge and someone came in and stole our wallets while I was there sleeping. So creepy. So I know what it feels like. Just awful.
